RhythmCoach is a browser-based rhythm and sight-reading trainer for musicians who want to play in time, on time. It listens through an audio input or MIDI controller as you tap, clap, or play along to a notated exercise, and grades every attack against the click - hit by hit, beat by beat - with millisecond precision.
Built for drummers, pianists, guitarists, percussionists, music students and educators, RhythmCoach turns Pozzoli, Bona and Dante Agostini studies into interactive ear-and-hand training. Import any standard MIDI file, set the tempo and tolerance window, and loop the bars you need to drill. The dashboard reports your timing accuracy, early-vs-late tendencies, and progress over sessions.

How a practice session works
- Pick a section and an exercise, or import your own MIDI study.
- Set the tempo, tolerance window, and input source: audio, MIDI, or click.
- Turn on Loop and click the bars you want to drill.
- Press play - RhythmCoach counts you in, listens, and grades each note in real time.
- Read your take report and repeat, or move on to the next study.
